She is a cookery writer too, and for 3½ years was the columnist of Cheats Dinner Party for Stella magazine in the Sunday Telegraph. Her fifth cook book Dinner at Mine (Kyle Books 2011), is a collection of fifty, of those 3-course, seasonal menus featured in her column, which she styled and photographed herself.

For twice a year, over a period of ten years, she also travelled to South-West Sicily to teach Sicilian cookery. Then back in the U.K. she has taught art and cookery to primary school children to help facilitate and inspire learning in English and Maths.

In between all of this, she also studied a B.A in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College of Art (University of the Arts London), where she specialised in photography, video and conceptual art and is now a practicing artist. At present she is an artist in residence at Fish Island Labs, an arts and technology incubator set up by The Trampery and the Barbican. click to read more and see some of her recent work….
